On the way

Packed up after breakfast then waited for some time for our shuttle to the airport. We had booked it for 10 am, but it did not arrive. The receptionist rang to find out and they said 10 minutes. 20 minutes later - still waiting! Finally a shuttle arrived and we loaded up but the driver decided down the road a bit that he could not take us. He stopped and a minute later our shuttle arrived and we had to transfer into that one.

After a very fast trip to the airport, we arrived in plenty of time to check our bags through to LA. We got boarding passes but not together. You would think that, having booked so long ago, we would be able to be seated together!

Went through passport control and security then got some lunch upstairs in the food court.

Went to the gate K53 to wait for the flight and it was not long before it was called. Not impressed too much with Air France. Service was passable. Thank goodness the flight only took 50 minutes!

Found our way through Terminal 4 to the transit area and waited for a bus to take us to Terminal 1. After going through security again, we were able to get our boarding passes for the flight to Los Angeles and only had to wait half an hour till boarding. It took another 15 minutes or so to get to the gate and boarded soon after we got there. The plane did not seem to be too full.
