Last few days in Birchington-on-Sea

Today brings us to the end of our lovely stay in the UK.
The last few days have been very relaxing with our friends, David and Carol.
On Saturday, we went over to Broadstairs so Gina could meet up with her friend. The weather was not so good - intermittent showers, but not really cold. We had some lunch in a cafe overlooking the sea front.

We then went to the railway station in Margate to get tickets for the train to Ashford on Monday so we could get the Eurostar to Paris. A quick bit of retail therapy to Westgate Cross to get a couple of light tops for the expected warmer climes of Paris and LA then home again.

Roger helped David to make a pizza for tea and was quite delicious!

On Sunday, we had a restful day with the highlight being a very nice meal at the Cafe Bee, just around the corner, at lunchtime.

Today is pack up day again, with nothing much planned other than catching the train at Margate to Ashford for the Eurostar to Paris.
