It is now 7.30pm in Los Angeles and we are waiting in the Air New Zealand lounge at the airport waiting to board our flight home.
Had a shower so feel ready to face 13 hours in a plane.
Check in went smoothly. The bus from the hotel dropped us right outside the check in desk and we only had to manage the cases for a few metres. Although it was only just after 6 pm, we were able to check in right away.
Suzanne has requested an upgrade but will not know if she has it until we get to the gate.
Off to have a snack while we wait.
